Jane4girls giveaway and sewing goals for 2009

Since the cost of living is so high here, I am always looking for ways to save some money, even if it is just a few cents.

As I was looking at blogs for inspiration of what to sew next, I came across a blog called Jane4girls. She is having a giveaway. She is giving away grocery bags and mesh bags, from a company called hotSACKS. Head on over to her blog and check it out. Her blog also gives tips on how to save money with links to coupons.

Pictured here is a quilt I saw at a quilt show. The flower petals were raised and puffy, kinda like a 3D type of thing.

I think a few of my sewing goals will be to finish two or more of my ufos and to use more of my stash...it's been growing...happy sewing!

Wow, that's a beautiful quilt. Love the colors. Good luck with your UFO goal and trying to work with your stash. I need to set a few goals myself. Too many half finished projects around here.
Aloha!
